<br /> BE IT RESOLVED:

<br /> 1. That the Cabarrus County Electrical Ordinance, passed and promulgated on February 2, 1948,
<br />be, and the same is, hereby amended by inserting at the end of paragraph (1) (b) of Section 4 the
<br />following paragraph:
<br /> (c) No permit shall be required, and the inspection provisions of this Ordinance shall not
<br />apply to, the installation, construction, maintenance or repair of electrical wiring, devices,
<br />appliances or equipment by persons, firms or corporations, upon their own property, who regularly
<br />employ one or more electricians or mechanics for~the purpose of installing, maintaining or repairi~
<br />of electrical wiring, devices or equipment used for the conductiing of the business of tb~ said
<br />persons, firms, or corporations.
<br /> 2. This amendment shall be in full force and effect from and after June 3, 1963.
<br />
<br /> Lyles and McCray voted for the above resolution. Hill, Petrea, Jam~s voted against the above
<br />resolution. Therefore the above resolution was not adopted.

<br /> Lyles made motion to appoint Fred Lisk electrical inspector for Cannon Mills for their own
<br />
<br />property. McCray seconded. Voted for: Lyles and McCray Voted Against: Petrea, Hill, .James

<br /> Lyles made motion, seconded by McCray to move up the revaluation.one year to Jan. l, 1966.

<br /> Lyles made motion, seconded by Petrea to accept $144.44 for releasing lien on the Cora
<br />Allision property. This is only for the 1/9 interest on the 10 acre tract of land on the West
<br />side of Earnhardt Road. Vote carried.
