/_77 <br /> <br /> The Board of Commissioners for the County of Cabarrus, North Carolina, met in adjourned <br /> <br />regular session at the County Courthouse in Salisbury, North Carolina, at 10:00 A.M. on June <br /> <br />17, 1963. <br /> <br /> Present: Chairman, C. Frank James, and Commissioners, C. McNeil Petrea, M. Smoot Lyles, <br /> <br />Oren J. Hill, and W. Frank McCray. <br /> <br /> Absent: None <br /> <br /> Commissioner W. Frank McCray introduced the following resolution which was read: <br /> RESOULUTION CONCERNING A RESOLUTION OF THE NORTH CAROLINA STATE <br /> BOARD OF HEALTH CREATING THE KANNAPOLIS SANITARY~ DISTRICT, IN <br /> CABARRUS AND ROWAN COUNTIES, NORTH CAROLINA, AND APPOINTING A <br /> SANITARY DISTRICT BOARD FOR SAID DISTRICT <br /> <br /> -BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of Commissioners for the County of Cabarrus: <br /> <br />Section 1. That the Board of Commissioners has determined and does hereby find and declare: <br />(a) That there has been received from the North Carolina State Board of Health a resolution <br />passed on May 30, 1963, creating the Kannapolis Sanitary District, in Cabarrus and Rowan Counties, <br />North Carolina, which resolution is entitled: <br /> <br />"RESOLUTION OF THE NORTH CAROLINA STATE BOARD OF HEALTH CREATING THE KANNAPOLIS SANITARY DISTRICT <br />LOCATED IN CABARRUS AND ROWAN COUNTIES, NORTH CAROLINA" and is recorded in Volume 14 of the <br />minutes of the Board of Commissioners for the County of Cabarrus, beginning at page 175 and <br />ending at page 176 . <br /> <br /> (b) That it has become the duty of the Board of Commissioners for the County of Rowan and <br />the Board of Commissioners for the County of Cabarrus to appoint a Sanitary District Board of <br />five members, residents within the District, which shall thereafter be the governing body of <br />said District. <br /> <br /> Section 2. Carl W. Brown~ Harold D. Holbrook~ Everette L. Murph~ John S. Oehle.r~ and <br /> <br />H. Clee Overcash~ who are residents within said District, are hereby appointed members of the <br />Sanitary District Board of Kannapolis Sanitary District, in Cabarrus and Rowan Counties, North <br />Carolina, with all the powers conferred upon such Board by Chapter 130, Article 12, General <br />Statutes of North Carolina, until their successors are duly elected and qualified. <br /> <br /> Commissioner W. Frank McCray moved the passage of the foregoing resolution entitled: <br />"RESOLUTION CONCERNING A RESOLUTION OF THE NORTH CAROLINA STATE BOARD OF HEALTH CREATING THE <br />KANNAPOLIS SANITARY DISTRICT, IN CABARRUS AND ROWAN COUNTIES, NORTH CAROLINA, AND APPOINTING A <br />SANITARY DISTRICT BOARD FOR SAID DISTRICT", and Commissioner C.
