Request for Addition T 4 Fordville (School St.) Request for Addition T 4 Pine Ave. & Litaker Ave. Request for Addition T ll Dr. Workman carae before board requesting an addressograph ~ multigraph machine for the Health Dept. Dr. Workman was advised other bids would have to be obtained since this is such a large amount. Proposed boundries were presented for Odell Volunteer Fire Dept. HcCray made motion, seconded by Petrea to approve these boundries provided they were agreed with other departments. Vote carried. Dr. Workman requested that a meeting be held with the Health and all people collecting garbage. He was granted this request. Nr. ~ills of C & ~ Ambulance was called before the Board concerning the moving of the office. N~. ~ills advised the Board they moved from Bell Ave. to #4 Willowbrook Dr. for a base location. They will h~ve ambulances equipped~with radios and they will continually be patroling the county. Also two ambulances will be left at the base station. Representatives of Cabarrus County Schools came before the Board concerning County Schools. They stated they have not presented a formal request yet, because they were waiting on a survey to be completed on county schools. Commissioners advised the County School Board to submit this request as soon as possible. Nr. C. A. Furr, Supt. of County Schools, presented an insurance check in the amount of $41,000. He requested this be entered into an account to draw interest. This is for the Odell School Gym which burned. Commissioners agreed and this check was turned over to Nr. Hurt for handling. A resolution was presented for fixing date for hearing on petition to close a portion of Pennsylvania Ave. and Knollwood Drive and notice to all persons in closing thereof.
