The Boa~i of County Co~fssioners met at a call meeting Tuesday, March 31, 196b. <br /> <br />Present: Chalr~an, C. Frank J~nes <br /> <br /> Co~atssioners, Oren Ht11, NcNeil Petrea, Frank NcCr~y, Smoot Lyles <br /> <br /> Meeting called to order by Chairman J~nes. Lyles ~sde motion, seconded by McCray to <br /> <br />approve an agreement with N. C. State livy. Commission whereby they can proceed with work <br /> <br />on new bypass on County property and negotiations will be made later. Vote carried. <br /> <br /> The following companies submitted bids for mapping of Cabarrus County: <br /> <br /> Southeastern Appraisal ....... -$98,885. <br /> A~erican Air Surveys ...... -$125, 000. less $3500 for work already done <br /> Aero Service Corp ......... -$120,000. <br /> <br /> llr. Ralph Litaker stated county specifications were mailed to six co=panies. They were: <br />Southeastern Appraisal & ~lapping Services; H. L. Yoh Co.; Associated Surveys; S. Glenn Hawfield, 3~. <br />Paaerican Air Surveys, Inc.; and Aero Service Corp. (Only the above three co~panies sub~ftted <br />Petrea made motion, seconded by Hill to accept American Air Surveys <br />County, based on specifications sulmitted. <br />Voted For~ J~es, Petrea, Hill <br />Voted Against: Lyles, McCray <br /> <br /> Having no further business, meeting adjourned. <br /> <br /> Clerk to Board <br /> <br /> <br />
