HILBISH, ) O R DE R <br />PETITIONERS, FOR THE CLOSING OF A ) <br />DEDICATED ROAD. ) <br /> <br /> This cause corning on to be heard and being heard at the regular <br /> <br />August n~eeting of the Board of County Commissioners of Cabarrus County, <br />North Carolina, at the Courthouse in Concord, North Carolina, on the 1st <br />day of Aug~lst, 1966, upon the petition of Fredrick G. Hilbish and wife, <br />Alice M. Hilbish, for the closing of a portion of a dedicated road~,ay pre- <br />viously abandoned by the North Carolina State Highway Comn'.~ission, and <br />it apit~earing to the Board and the Board findin~ as facts the following: <br /> <br /> i. ~'ihat Oklahoma Avenue is a roadway running generally east <br /> <br />and west and located on the east side of U. S. Highway 29 and on the w'est <br />:~ide of Iff. S. Highway 29 in No. 4 Township, Cabarrus County, North <br />Csrolina; that by ~ap recorded in Map Book 5, page 83, in the Cabarrus <br />County Registry, that portion of Oklahoma Avenue shown on said n:ap and <br />lying on the west side of U. S. Highway 29 (Cannon Boulevard) is the subject <br />of thi~ Order, bounded on the east side by U. S. Highway 29 and on the west <br />side by Carolina Drive. <br /> <br /> 2. That the North Carolina State Highway Commission, at its June 30, <br />1966, ~.:neeting in Raleigh, North Carolina, officially approved the abandomnent <br />of the aforedescribed portion of Oldahorna Avenue as evidenced by said letter <br />dated July i, 1966, from the State Highway Connmission as it pertains to <br />Secondary Road No. 2094. <br /> <br /> i~.
