STATE OF NORTH CAROLINA <br /> COUNTY OF CABARRUS <br /> <br /> OPTION <br /> <br /> THIS CONTRACT, Made and entered into this the <br /> <br />· ~ day of ~ , 1967, by and between <br /> <br /> W. J. HOLDING and wife, MARGARET H. HOLDING, of the County. <br /> of Cabarrus and State of North Carolina, parties of the <br /> first part, and CABARRUS COUNTY, of the State of North <br /> Carolina, party of the second part; <br /> <br /> W I T N E S S E T H : That <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the party of the second part has pur- <br /> chased from the parties of the first part a one-fourth <br /> (1/4) undivided interest in the property hereinafter <br /> described; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the party of the second part desires an <br /> option from the parties of the first part whereby it may <br /> purchase an additional one-fourth (1/4) undivided interest <br /> in said property each year for a period of three years, so <br /> that at the expiration of the said Period of three years <br /> the party of the second part will own the entire interest <br /> in the property. <br /> <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, for and in consideration of the <br /> sum of One Dollar ($1.00) to them in hand paid, the receipt <br /> of which is hereby acknowledged, said parties of the first <br /> part do hereby give and grant unto the said party of the <br /> second part the right and option to purchase from said <br /> parties of the first part, in the manner and'on the terms <br /> and conditions hereinafter set ou~, a three-fourths (3/4) <br /> undivided interest in a certain tract or. parcel of land <br /> more particularly described as follows: <br /> <br /> Lying and being in Ward 3 of the City of Concord, <br /> North Carolina, on the North side of East Corbin <br /> Street, adjoining the Patterson Estate, Snyder and <br /> others; bounded as follows: <br /> <br /> <br />
