RESOLUTION SETTING ~'I-I~.. TAX RATE ~OR <br /> <br /> BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of Commissioners for the <br /> <br />County of Cabarrus: <br /> <br /> Section 1. That the Board of Con~issioners has received <br /> <br />the following resolution from the Board of Commissioners for the <br /> <br />Royal Oaks Sanitary District: <br /> <br /> "RESOLUTION CERTIFYING THE,~REQUESTED TAX RATE TO. THE BOARD <br /> OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS OF CABARRUS COUNTY, NORTH CAROLINA <br /> <br /> Whereas, the Royal Oaks Sanitary District Board has met <br /> and in compliance with North Carolina General Statutes <br /> 130-141, has determined the amount of funds necessary to <br /> be raised by tax assessment and has determined the number <br /> of cents per one hundred dollars property valuation neces- <br /> sary to raise said amount; and, <br /> <br /> Whereas, the Sanitary District Board now desires to <br /> certify to the Board of County Commissioners of Cabarrus <br /> County, North Carolina, the number of cents per one hundred <br /> dollars property valuation to be levied as a tax for the <br /> Royal Oaks Sanitary District; and, <br /> <br /> Whereas, the Royal Oaks Sanitary District Board has <br /> found that the said tax rate for the year 1967 should be <br /> 50 cents per one hundred dollars property valuation; <br /> <br /> Now, therefore, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED: <br /> <br /> Section 1. That the Royal Oaks Sanitary District Board, <br /> in compliance with the above mentioned statute, does hereby <br /> certify to the Board of County Commissioners of Cabarrus <br /> County, North Carolina, that for the year 1967 it requests <br /> that said Board of County Commissioners introduce in its <br /> annual levy the sum of 50 cents per one hundred dollars <br /> property valuation to be levied against all taxable property <br /> within the District, said funds to be cOllected by the County <br /> Tax Collector and turned over to the Royal Oaks Sanitary <br /> District as provided in General Statutes 130-141. <br /> <br /> Section 2. That the Secretary of the Sanitary District <br /> Board forward a certified copy of this resolution to the <br /> Board of County Commissioners of Cabarrus County, North <br /> Carolina. <br /> <br /> Section 3. That this resolution shall take effect from <br /> the date of its passage." <br /> <br /> Section 2. .That the Sanitary District tax for the Royal <br /> <br />Oaks Sanitary District for the year 1967 in the amount of <br /> <br />cents per one hundred dollars property valuation be and the same <br /> <br />Sanitary District. <br /> <br /> <br />
