Notice of said election and new registration <br /> shall be published once a week for three successive weeks, <br /> the first publication to be at least twenty (20) days before <br /> the opening of the registration period, in the Concord <br /> Tribune, a newspaper published in Cabarrus County and cir- <br /> culating in said district, which notice shall be in substantial <br /> the following form: <br /> <br /> NOTICE OF SPECIAL ELECTION <br /> AND NEW REDISTRATION <br /> IN <br /> JACKSON PARK FIRE PROTECTION DISTRICT <br /> <br /> A special election will be held between 6:30 a.m. and <br /> 6:30 p.m., Eastern Daylight Savings Time, Tuesday, July <br /> <br /> 30, i968, at which there will be submitted to the qualified <br /> registered voters of the Jackson Park Fire Protection District <br /> in Cabarrus County, North Carolina, which district comprises <br /> the territory hereinafter described the following proposition: <br /> <br /> An election in the Jackson Park Fire Protection <br /> District for the purpose of submitting to the <br /> qualified voters therein the question of levying <br /> and collecting a special tax on all taxable <br /> property in said district, of not exceeding i5¢ <br /> of the $100.00 valuation of property, for the <br /> purpose of pmoviding fire protection in said <br /> district. <br /> <br /> The boundary lines of said Jackson Park Fire Protection <br /> District are as follows: <br /> <br /> BEGINNING in the center of bridge over Irish Bu~f&lo <br /> Creek on State Hwy. No. 29-A (West Corban Street) and the <br /> western City Limits of Concord, N. C., thence in a north- <br /> westerly direction along Irish Buffalo Creek and western <br /> city limits of Concord to a point 200 ft. South of Lisk Ave.; <br /> thence in a westerly direction 200 ft. south of and parallel <br /> to Lisk Ave., to a point 200 ft. west of Hwy. 29 and 200 ft. <br /> south of Lisk Ave., thence in a south-westerly direction <br /> <br />JOHNSON & DAVIS along the western side of Hwy 29, to a point 200 ft east <br /> <br /> CONCORD, N, C. <br /> <br /> 2 <br /> <br /> <br />
