A regular meeting of the Sanitray District Board of the <br /> Royal Oaks Sanitary District, in Cabarrus County, North, Carolina, <br /> was held at Royal Oaks Fire Department, Kannapolis, North <br /> Carolina, within the bo'undaries of said Sanitary District, on <br /> Ju~e 17, 1968, at 7:00 o'clock p.m. <br /> <br /> Present: Wallace B. McCool, chairman, Lloyd Miller, <br /> <br /> Elmer L. Peele, members, and Charles S. Davis, Jr., member <br /> <br /> and secretary. <br /> <br /> Absent: F. D. Dalrymple, member. <br /> <br /> ~!.~ ~~ introduced the following <br /> resolution which was read: <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION CERTIFYING THE REQUESTED TAX RATE TO THE BOARD <br /> OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS OF CABARRUS COUNTY, NORTH CAROLINA <br /> <br /> Whereas, the Royal Oaks Sanitary District Board has met <br /> and, in compliance with, North Carolina General Statutes 130-141, <br /> has determined the amo'unt of funds necessary to be raised by tax <br /> assessment and has determined the number of cents per one hundred <br /> dollars property valuation necessary to raise said amount; and, <br /> <br /> Whereas, the Sanitary District Board now desires to certif, <br /> to the Board of County Commissioners Of Cabarrus County, North <br /> Carolina, the number of cents per one hundred dollars property <br /> valuation to be levied as a tax for the Royal Oaks Sanitary Dis- <br /> trict; and, <br /> <br /> Whereas, the Royal Oaks Sanitary District Board has found <br /> that the said tax rate for the year 1968 should be fifty cents <br /> per one hundred dollars property valuation; <br /> <br /> Now, therefore, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED: <br /> <br /> Section 1.
