(a) That the funds available from the <br /> surplus operating revenue as provided by <br /> G. S. 130-144 are insufficient for the payment <br /> of interest and retirement of the District's <br /> obligations and the cost and expenses which <br /> may be reasonably anticipated in the <br /> maintenance and operation of the facilities of <br /> the Sanitary District. <br /> <br /> (b) That the assessed valuation of the <br /> property within the limits of the Parkwood <br /> Sanitary District has been estimated at approxi- <br /> mately $2,277,000.00. <br /> <br /> (c) That a levy of 15~ per $100.00 <br /> valuation will produce approximately $3,415.50. <br /> <br /> (d) That barring unforeseen and unantici- <br /> pated expenses, the sum of $3,415.50 should be <br /> ample to meet the obligations of the Sanitary <br /> District during the fiscal year 1968-69. <br /> <br /> 2. That the Secretary of the Parkwood Sanitary District <br /> Board certified to the Board of County Commissioners for <br /> Cabarrus County, North Carolina, that the Parkwood Sanitary <br /> District Board has determined that a levy of 15~ per $100.00 <br /> valuation of property within the District limits is necessary to <br /> raise the amount needed to meet the current obligations of said <br /> District and requested that said amount be included in the next <br /> levy to be determined by the Board of County Commissioners <br /> and collected as other taxes under the provisions of G.S. 130-141. <br /> <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of <br />Commissioners for the County of Cabarrus: <br /> <br /> Section 1. That a levy of 15Q per $100.00 valuation <br /> of property within the Parkwood Sanitary District limits be <br /> included in the next annual levy to be determined by the <br /> Board of County Commissioners for the fiscal year 1968-69 <br /> and that said levy be collected as other county taxes as <br /> provided by North Carolina General Statute 130-141. <br /> <br /> On motion of CommissionerDr[~a[~kiS.
