Volunteer Fire District to a point on N. C. Highway 73, <br /> being TOO feet west from adams creek; thence in a northerly <br /> direction to a point in St. Johns Road, being .85 mile from <br /> its intersection with Gold Hill Road; thence in a northerly <br /> direction to a point in Gold Hill Road, being 200 feet <br /> southwest of its crossing of Dutch Buffalo Creek; thence <br /> in a northwesterly direction to a point on Irish Potato <br /> Road i.35 miles from its intersection with Gold Hill Road; <br /> thence in a westerly direction to a point on Sapp Road, <br /> .i mile north o~ its crossing of Little Cold Water Creek; <br /> thence in a northwesterly direction to a point in Old Salisbury <br /> Road 1.05 miles north from its intersection with Sapp Road; <br /> thence in a westerly direction to a point at the intersection <br /> of Lake Concord Road and Horton Road; thence in a south- <br /> westerly direction to a point where it intersects with the <br /> line of Winecoff Volunteer Fire District, 500 feet north <br /> of Burrage Road at the Concord City Limits; thence in a <br /> southerly direction with the City Limits line of the City <br /> of Concord, N. C. to the point of BEGINNING. <br /> The proposition herein above set forth contains a statemen~ <br /> of the purpose for which the election is called and tax shall <br /> be imposed. <br /> If said proposition passes by a majority of the qualified <br /> v~ters i~ the Cold Water Fire Protection District, a tax <br /> will be levied upon all taxable property within said Cold <br /> Water Fire Protection District sufficient to pay for the pur- <br /> pose of providing fire protection in said district. A new <br /> registration of voters has been ordered and no one will be <br /> permitted to vote unless registered anew. The books for such <br /> registration will be open from 9:00 a.m. until ~:80~on <br /> each day beginning Saturday, July 6, i968 and ending Saturday, <br /> July 20, 1968.
