20, 1968. On each Saturday during such Period said books <br /> shall be kept open at the polling place. Saturday, July 27, <br /> 1968, shall be challenge day. <br /> <br /> SECTION IV. Notice of said election and new registration <br /> shall be published once a week for three~uccessive weeks, <br /> the first publication to be at least twenty (20) days before <br /> the opening of the registration period, in the Concord <br /> Tribune, a newspaper published in Cabarrus County and cir- <br /> culating in said district, which notice shall be in sub- <br /> stantially the £ollowing ~orm: <br /> <br /> NOTICE OF SPECIAL ELECTION <br /> AND NEW REGISTRATION <br /> IN <br /> COLD WATER FIRE PROTECTION DISTRICT <br /> <br /> A special election will be held between 6:30 a.m. and <br /> 6:30 p.m., Eastern Daylight Savings Time, Tuesday, July <br /> <br /> 30, i968, at which there will be submitted to the qualified <br /> registered voters of the Cold Water Fire Protection District <br /> in Cabarrus County, North Carolina, which district comprises <br /> the territory hereinafter described the following proposition: <br /> <br /> An election in the Cold Water Fire Protection <br /> District for the purpose of submitting to the <br /> qualified voters therein the question of levying <br /> and collecting a special tax on all taxable <br /> property in said district, of not exceeding 15¢ <br /> of the $100.00 valuation of property, for the <br /> purpose of providing fire protection in said <br /> district. <br /> <br /> The boundary lines of said Cold Water:- Fire Protection <br /> District are as follows: <br /> BEGINNING at a point in the southern limits line of <br /> the City of Concord, N. C. on three mile branch and runs <br /> with the three mile branch in a southerly direction to <br /> Cold Water Creek; thence in a southerly direction with Cold <br /> Water Creek to Little Cold Water Creek; thence in an easterly <br /> direction to a point on N. C. Highway 40, 200 feet west of <br /> its intersection with Cold Springs Road (said point being <br /> DAVIS at the line of Mt. Pleasant Volunteer Fire District); thence <br /> <br />., co..^. ^v... .. w. in a northerly direction with the line of Mt. Pleasant <br />CONCORd, N.C. <br /> <br /> <br />
