STATEMENT OF RESULT OF SPECIAL BOND ELECTION <br /> <br /> ltELD IN T~E <br /> <br /> JACKSON PARK FIRE PROTECTION DISTRICT <br /> <br /> IN <br /> <br /> CABARRUS COUNTY, NORTH CAROLINA <br /> <br /> ON <br /> <br /> JULY 30, 1968 <br /> <br /> 552 <br /> voters were registered and qualified to <br /> <br /> vote al a special tax election held on July 30, 1968 in the <br /> Jackson Park Fire Protection District, in Cabarrus County, <br /> North Carolina. <br /> <br /> At said election .~4-7 _ voters voted for the approval <br /> <br /> in favor of tax for fire protection in Jackson Park Fire <br /> Protection District, authorizing the levying and collecting <br /> of a special tax on all taxable property in said district, <br /> of not exceeding 15¢ of the $100.00 valuation of the property, <br /> for the purpose of providing fire protection in said district. <br /> <br /> At said election_ /73 voters voted against the <br /> <br /> levying of tax for fire protection in Jackson Park Fire Pro- <br /> tection District and the levying and collecting of a special <br /> tax on all taxable property in said district of not exceeding <br /> 15¢ of the $i00.00 valuation of property for the purpose of <br /> providing fire protection in said district· <br /> <br /> THEREFORE a majority of the qualified registered voters <br /> voting thereon at the election voted for said special levy <br /> and collection of a special tax on all taxable property in <br /> said district of not exceeding 15¢ of the $100.00 valuation <br /> of property, for the purpose of providing fire protection <br /> in said district. <br /> <br /> J~fhn Sharpe l{a~sell, ~r~xrman, Cabar:us <br /> County Board of Elections and Supervi~or <br />JOHNSON.
