PETITION FOR THE EXTENSION OF THE BOUNDARIES OF TIlE KANNAPOLIS SANITARY DISTRICT To the Board of Commissioners: The Kannapolis Real Estate Agency, Inc., a North Carolina corporation with its registered office at 500 South Cannon Boulevard, Kannapolis, N. C., owner of all the land described hereinbelow, respectfully petitions that all necessary action required by Article 12 of Chapter 130 of the General Statutes of North Carolina for the extension of the boundaries of the Kannapolis Sanitary District in Cabarrus and Rowan Counties be taken so as to annex said land and include the same within the boundaries of said Kannapolis Sanitary District under the authority of said Article 12 of Chapter'130 of the General Statutes of North Carolina. The purpose of this petition is the annexation of the land or territory described below to said Kannapolis Sanitary District so that said district will include said territory within its boundaries, and so that water and sewerage facilities and other utilities and services which said district is authorized to provide may be provided in said territory for the preservation and pro- motion of the public health and sanitary welfare therein. It is understood and agreed that the petitioner will make installation of the necessary water lines and sewer lines in the territory hereinafter described in accordance with the rules and provisions of the District for construction of water and sewer lines in new developments. The boundaries of the territory petitioned to be annexed to and included in the Kannapolis Sanitary District are as follows: Beginning at a stake on the Kannapolis Sanitary District Limits line, on the line of Robert W. Sloop, said stake being 200.00' west of the center line of Beaumont' Avenue, and South 15-50 East 355 ft., more or less from the center line of Shepherd Street; thence with the southern line of Robert W. Sloop, South 88-12 East 1139 ft., more or less, to an iron stake, the back corner of Lots Nos. 12 and 13 of Beaumont Park Subdivision in the southern line of Robert W. Sloop; thence with the dividing line of Lots Nos. 12 and 13, South 0-45 West 214.85 ft. to an iron stake, the front corner of Lots Nos. 12 and 13; thence with the line of Kannapolis Real Estate Agency, Inc., South 14-43 West 141.80 ft. to an iron stake, the front corner of Lots Nos. 38 and 39; thence with the dividing line of Lots Nos. 38 and 39, South 51-19 West 156.60 ft. to an iron stake, an old corner with the Frank Stepleton property; thence with old Frank Stepleton line, North 80-58 West 891 ft., more or less, to a stake in the Kannapolis Sanitary District Limits line; thence with the Kannapolis Sanitary District Limits line, North 15-50 West 357 more or less, to the beginning.
