PETITION FOR THE EXTENSION OF THE <br /> BOUNDARIES OF TIlE KANNAPOLIS SANITARY DISTRICT <br /> <br />To the Board of Commissioners: <br /> <br /> The Kannapolis Real Estate Agency, Inc., a North Carolina <br />corporation with its registered office at 500 South Cannon <br />Boulevard, Kannapolis, N. C., owner of all the land described <br />hereinbelow, respectfully petitions that all necessary action <br />required by Article 12 of Chapter 130 of the General Statutes of <br />North Carolina for the extension of the boundaries of the <br />Kannapolis Sanitary District in Cabarrus and Rowan Counties be <br />taken so as to annex said land and include the same within the <br />boundaries of said Kannapolis Sanitary District under the <br />authority of said Article 12 of Chapter'130 of the General <br />Statutes of North Carolina. <br /> <br /> The purpose of this petition is the annexation of the land <br />or territory described below to said Kannapolis Sanitary District <br />so that said district will include said territory within its <br />boundaries, and so that water and sewerage facilities and other <br />utilities and services which said district is authorized to provide <br />may be provided in said territory for the preservation and pro- <br />motion of the public health and sanitary welfare therein. <br /> <br /> It is understood and agreed that the petitioner will make <br />installation of the necessary water lines and sewer lines in the <br />territory hereinafter described in accordance with the rules and <br />provisions of the District for construction of water and sewer <br />lines in new developments. <br /> <br /> The boundaries of the territory petitioned to be annexed to <br />and included in the Kannapolis Sanitary District are as follows: <br /> <br /> Beginning at a stake on the Kannapolis Sanitary <br /> District Limits line, on the line of Robert W. Sloop, said <br /> stake being 200.00' west of the center line of Beaumont' <br /> Avenue, and South 15-50 East 355 ft., more or less from <br /> the center line of Shepherd Street; thence with the southern <br /> line of Robert W. Sloop, South 88-12 East 1139 ft., more <br /> or less, to an iron stake, the back corner of Lots Nos. <br /> 12 and 13 of Beaumont Park Subdivision in the southern <br /> line of Robert W. Sloop; thence with the dividing line of <br /> Lots Nos. 12 and 13, South 0-45 West 214.85 ft. to an iron <br /> stake, the front corner of Lots Nos. 12 and 13; thence <br /> with the line of Kannapolis Real Estate Agency, Inc., <br /> South 14-43 West 141.80 ft. to an iron stake, the front <br /> corner of Lots Nos. 38 and 39; thence with the dividing line <br /> of Lots Nos. 38 and 39, South 51-19 West 156.60 ft. to <br /> an iron stake, an old corner with the Frank Stepleton property; <br /> thence with old Frank Stepleton line, North 80-58 West <br /> 891 ft., more or less, to a stake in the Kannapolis <br /> Sanitary District Limits line; thence with the Kannapolis <br /> Sanitary District Limits line, North 15-50 West 357 <br /> more or less, to the beginning. <br /> <br /> Respectfully submitted, <br /> <br /> KANNAPOLIS REA~.
