RESOLUTION SETTING THE TAX RATE FOR THE ROYAL OAKS SANITARY DISTRICT BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of Commissioners for the County of Cabarrus: Section 1. That the Board of Commissioners has received the following resolution from the Board of Commissioners for the Royal Oaks Sanitary District: "RESOLUTION CERTIFYING THE REQUESTED TAX RATE TO THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS OF CABARRUS COUNTY, N~TH CAROLINA WHEREAS, the Royal Oaks Sanitary District Board has met and, in compliance with North. Carolina General Stat'utes 130-141, has determined the amount of funds necessary to be raised by tax assessment and has determined the number of cents per one hundred dollars property valua- tion necessary to raise said amount; and, WHEREAS, the Sanitary District Board now desires to certify to the Board of County Commissioners of Cabarrus County, North Carolina, the number of cents per one hundred dollars property valuation to be levied as a tax for the Royal Oaks Sanitary District; and, WHEREAS, the Royal Oaks Sanitary District Board has found that the said tax rate for the year 1969 should be Fifty Cents ~50¢) per one hundred dollars property valuation; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED: Section 1. That the Royal Oaks Sanitary District Board, in compliance with the above mentioned statute, does hereby certify to the Board of County Commissioners of Cabarrus County, North Carolina, that for the year 1969 it requests that said Board of County Commissioners introduce in its annual levy the sum of Fifty (50¢) Cents per one hundred dollars property valuation to be levied against all taxable property within the District, said funds to be collected by the County Tax Collector and turned over to the Royal Oaks Sanitary District as provided in General Statutes 130-131. Section 2. That the Secretary of the Sanitary District Board forward a certified copy of this resolution to the Board of County Commissioners of Cabarrus County, North CarOlina. Section 3. That this resolution shall take effect from the date of its passage." Section 2. That the Sanitary District tax for the Royal Oaks Sanitary District for the year 1969 in the amount of Fifty (50¢) Cents per one hundred dollars property valuation be and the same is hereby levied on property subject to the tax in the Royal Oaks Sanitary District. Section 3. That said levy be collected by the County Tax Collector and the funds received therefrom, less 5% of said amount which shall be retained as reimbursement for expenses of levying and collecting said taxes, be turned over to the Royal Oaks Sanitary District as is provided in the North Carolina General Statutes, Section 130-141.
