A regular meeting of the Sanitary District Board of tbs <br /> Royal Oaks Sanitary District, in Cabarrus County, North Carolina, <br /> was held at the Royal Oaks Sanitary District Administration <br /> Building, Florida Avenue, Kannapolis, N. C., within the <br /> boundaries of said sanitary district, on June 10, 1969, at 7:00 <br /> o'clock p.m. <br /> <br /> Present~ Wallace B. McCool, Chairman; J. L. Miller, and <br /> <br /> Elmer Poole, Members. <br /> <br /> Absent: Charles S. Davis, Jr., Member and Secretary. <br /> <br /> J. L. Miller introduced the following resolu- <br /> tion which was read: <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION CERTIFYING THE REQUESTED TAX RATE TO THE BOARD <br /> OF COUNTY C(I~MISSIONERS OF CABARRUS COUNTY, NORTH CAROLINA <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the Royal Oaks Sanitary District Board has met <br /> and, iD~:ompliance with North Carolina General Statutes 130-141, <br /> has determined the amount of funds necessary to be raised by tax <br /> assessment and has determined the number of cents per one hundre~ <br /> dollars property valuation necessary to raise said amount; and, <br /> <br /> ~HEREAS, the Sanitary District Board now desires to certi~ <br /> to the Board of County Co,~mdissioners of Cabarrus County, North <br /> Carolina, the number of cents per one hundred dollars property <br /> valuation to be levied as a tax for the Royal Oaks Sanitary <br /> District; and, <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the Royal Oaks Sanitary District Board has found <br /> that the said tax rate for the year 1969 should be _fifty cents <br /> <br /> (50¢) per one hundred dollars property valuation; <br /> <br />ALEXANDER & BROWN Now, therefore, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED: <br />ATTORNEYS AT LAW <br /> <br />,,,,O,,-,o.,L.LOO.
