755 <br /> <br /> Attorney John Bo~er, Jr., representing a resident of the Rockland Sanitary <br /> <br /> District, discussed with the Board various North Carolina statutes regardtn~ sant~ <br /> tary districts and the keeping of their records. Attorney Boger suggested that <br /> the Commissioners require a copy of the audit report for the previous year's <br /> operation of each sanitary district in the County prior to the setting of tax <br /> levy's requested by the districts. The Board requested the County attorneys to <br /> draft a resolution to th~s effect by the next meeting. <br /> <br /> County Manager Hurt announced that the parking meter gates for the parking <br /> lot on Church Street had been received and that assistance in having these gates <br /> installed had been requested from the City Engineer. The Board instructed Mr. <br /> Hurt to consult fence companies about the cost of erecting a three foot cyclone <br /> wire fence with walk through gates. <br /> <br /> Hawfield made motion, seconded by Ranktn, to approve the 'following road <br /> <br /> petitions. Vote was unanimous. <br /> <br /> Township #11 Cherokee Drive - Request for surface treatment. <br /> # 2 S/R #1il20 and lk92 - Groff and Sundale St. - Request for <br /> surface treatment. <br /> # 2 S/R #1b~91 Helen Drive - Request for surface treatment. <br /> <br /> # 1 Harvell Drive - Requested addition. <br /> # ~ T.D.
