The Board of Commissioners for the County of Cabarrus, <br /> North Carolina, met in regular session at the County Courthouse <br /> in Concord, North. Carolina, at 9:30 o'clock A.M., on November 3, <br /> 1969. <br /> <br /> Present: C. McNeil Petrea, Dr. R. B. Rankin, Jr., <br /> <br /> S. Glenn Hawf~e~d, Jr. and Robert A. McCrOry <br /> <br /> Absent: Mr. C. Frank James <br /> <br /> The Kannapolis Sanitary District requested the Board %o <br /> adopt the following resolution which was read: <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION RELATING TO THE ANNEXATION OF TERRITORIES TO THE KANNAPOLIS SANITAi{Y DISTRICT <br /> <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS FOR THE <br /> COUNTY OF CABARRUS: <br /> <br /> Section 1. That the Board of Commissioners for the Count5 <br /> of Cabarrus has determined and does hereby find and declare: <br /> <br /> (a) That on November 3, 1969, two resolutions were <br /> received from the Sanitary District Board of the }(annapolis <br /> Sanitary District relating to the annexation of territory to <br /> the Kannapolis Sanitary District. <br /> <br /> (b) That the territories described in the petitions <br /> consist of the property of Grady Crook and others located on <br /> the South. side of West 18th Street in Rowan County, North Caro- <br /> lina, and the property of Billy R. Durham and others located at <br /> the intersection of Cross and Lombardi Streets in Cabarrus <br /> County, North Carolina. <br /> <br /> (c) That the petitions were signed by all of the owners <br /> of the properties requested to be annexed. <br /> <br /> (d) That said petitions request that all necessary <br /> <br />^~O..EYS^T~^W action required by Article 12 of Chapter 130 of the General <br />~1S PROLf~rSSIONAL BLDG, <br /> <br /> KANHAPOLIS, N.
