RE SOLUTION <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, on the 6th day of May, 1968, the Board of Commis- <br /> sioners of CabarrusCounty granted a franchise to J. Lee Pharr to collect <br /> refuse in the area of Cabarrus County set forth in said resolution; and <br /> whereas, the said J. Lee Pharr has sold his business of collecting refuse in <br /> this area of Cabarrus County in three tracts or routes: Route #1 to Ralph <br /> J. Moody; Route #2 to William Williams; and Route #3 to James A. Jones <br /> and William E. Fisher, said routes or areas being more particularly <br /> described hereinafter. <br /> <br /> And whereas, this Board desires to grant conditional franchises <br /> to said persons under the authority given it by the General Statutes of North <br /> Carolina, said franchises having been recommended by the Health Director, <br /> said franchises being granted on the condition that said persons comply with <br /> the rules and regulations governing the storage, transporting, and disposal <br /> of refuse. <br /> <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED AND RESOLVED by the <br /> Board of Commissioners of Cabarrus County that: <br /> <br /> A. An exclusive franchise to collect refuse is hereby granted <br /> to Ralph J. Moody in the following area of Cabarrus County: <br /> <br /> Bounded by Stanly County, Union County, Mecklenburg County, <br /> Iredell County, Rowan County, and franchise areas granted to Royal Service <br /> Co., William Williams, and James A. Jones and William E. Fisher, <br /> including all of the land within the boundaries hereinafter described, said <br /> boundaries being more particularly described as follows: <br /> <br /> BEGINNING at a point in the Stanly-Cabarrus County line 300 <br /> feet South of Highway 200 and runs thence 300 feet South of Highway 200 in <br /> a westerly direction to the corner of Townships 9 and 10 in Rocky River <br /> (said corner being where the River changes course from east to south); <br /> thence continuing west with the meanderings of Rocky River to the place <br /> ~ where Coddle Creek enters Rocky River; thence North up Coddle Creek to <br /> the mouth of Wolf Meadow Branch; thence up Wolf Meadow Branch to the <br /> '~ West boundary of the Cabarrus Country Club Property in Wedding[on Road; <br /> thence a straight line North to the intersection of Crisco Road and Poplar <br /> Tent Road; thence W. 300 feet with Poplar Tent Road; thence North with a <br />w,L-,^~s, w,.~£roRo line 300 feet West of the Crisco Road to Interstate 85; thence Northeast with <br /> ~,OG~,, Interstate 85 to the dividing line between Townships 2 and 4; thence West <br /> ATTORNEY~r AT LAW <br /> <br />CONCORD, NORTH CAROLINA <br /> <br /> <br />
