A regular meeting of the Sanitary District Board of the <br /> Royal Oaks Sanitary District, in Cabarrus County, North Carolina, <br /> was held at the Royal Oaks Sanitary District Administration <br /> Building, Florida Avenue, Kannapolis, North Carolina, within <br /> the boundaries of said sanitary district, on June 9, 1970, at <br /> 7:00 o'clock p.m. <br /> <br /> Present: W. B. McCool, Chairman, J. Lloyd Miller, Member <br /> <br /> and Charles S. Davis, Jr., Member and Secretary. <br /> <br /> Absent: Elmer Poole, Member. <br /> <br /> J. Lloyd Miller introduced the following <br /> resolution which, was read: <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION CERTIFYING THE REQUESTED TAX RATE TO THE BOARD <br /> OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS OF CABARRUS COUNTY, NORTH CAROLINA <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the Royal Oaks Sanitary District Board has met <br /> and, in compliance with North Carolina General Statutes 130-141, <br /> has determined the amount of funds necessary to be raised by tax <br /> assessment and has determined the number of cents per one hundred <br /> dollars property valuation necessary to raise said amount; and, <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the Sanitary District Board now desires to cer- <br /> tify to the Board of County Commissioners of Cabarrus County, <br /> North Carolina, the number of cents per one hundred dollars <br /> property valuation to be levied as a tax for the Royal Oaks <br /> Sanitary District; and, <br /> <br /> WPIEREAS, the Royal Oaks Sanitary District Board has found <br /> that the said tax rate for the year 1970 should be fifty cents <br /> <br /> (50¢) per one hundred dollars property valuation; <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED: <br /> <br /> Section 1. That the Royal Oaks Sanitary District Board, <br /> <br />ALEXANDER & BROWN <br />ATTORNEYS ATLAW in compliance with. the above mentioned statute, does hereby <br /> <br /> K^NNAPOL'S. N.C. certify to the Board of County Commissioners of Cabarrus County, <br /> <br /> <br />
