803 <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION OF THE ROCKLAND SANITARY DISTRICT <br /> <br /> BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of Commissioners of the Rockland Sanitary District: <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the Rockland Sanitary District Board has met in compliance with <br /> <br /> North Carolina General Statutes 130-141, and has determined the amount of funds <br /> necessary to be raised by tax assessment and has determined the number of cents <br /> per one hundred dollars property valuation necessary to raise said amount, and, <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the Rockland Sanitary District Board now desires to certify to the <br /> <br /> Board of County Commissioners of Cabarrus County, North Carolina, the number of <br /> cents per one hundred dollars property valuation to be levied as a tax for the <br /> Rockland Sanitary District, and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the Rockland Sanitary District Board has found that the said tax <br /> rate for the fiscal year 1970-71 should be forty-seven (.47) cents per one <br /> hundred dollars valuation~ and that the said tax rate will produce approximately <br /> two thousand four hundred fifty five dollars ($2,455.00), based on the property - , <br /> valuation of approximately five hundred twenty two thousand four hundred eighty <br /> three dollars ($522,483.00.) <br /> <br /> NOW, THEREFORE IT IS HEREBY RESOLVED: <br /> <br /> That the Rockland Sanitary District Board, in compliance with the above mentioned <br /> statute, does hereby certify to the Board of County Commissioners of Cabarrus <br /> County, North Carolina, that for the fiscal year 1970-71, it requests the Cabarrus <br /> County Board of Commissioners to levy the sum of forty seven cents per one hundred <br /> dollars valuation against all taxable property within the District, and said funds <br /> to be collected by the County Tax Collector and turned over to the Rockland <br /> Sanitary District as provided in Gerneral Statutes 130-141. <br /> <br /> This the 6th.
