829 <br /> <br /> C. M. Bumgardner, a resident within the Kannapolts Sanitary District <br /> <br /> complalned to the Board about the Kannapolis Sanitary District. Mr. <br /> Bumgardner was directed to take his complaint before the Sanitary District <br /> Board as the County Commissioners had no Jurisdiction except in approving <br /> the tax rate requested by sant.tary districts. <br /> <br /> Mr. Charles Turner, Director of Central Regional Council of Government <br /> was welcomed as a visitor. <br /> <br /> Planning Director, Jerry Myers presented for the first reading the prol)osed <br /> county ordinance setting minimum lot sizes for the county. The Board approved <br /> advertising ,for a public hearing of the ordinance according to law upon <br /> motion by Ranktn, seconded by Petrea. Vote was unanimous. <br /> <br /> Rankin made motion, seconded by Petrea, with vote unanimous, to <br /> <br /> approve the following qualified voters of Cabarrus County who have been <br /> appointed to serve on the Mt. Mitchell Fire Protection District Commission: <br /> Clarence Walters, James Christy and Paul Hlleman. <br /> <br /> A request by the Flowem Store Volunteer Fire Department for the <br /> <br /> county to set the boundaries as submitted by the Fire Department was <br /> <br /> unanimous, upon motion by Rankin, seconded by Hawfteld. <br /> <br /> Hayfield made motion, seconded by Petrea with vote unanimous to.accept <br /> the following road petitions: <br /> <br /> Patricta Drtve.......Request for addition <br /> <br /> Amity Avenue & Tripoli Avenue.......Request of addition <br /> <br /> End of S.R. #1~1~.. .... Request for addition <br /> <br /> Wtlkerson g Deaton Streets.. ..... Request for addition <br /> <br /> Road leading to Whttley Manufacturing Company....Request for surface <br /> treatme~.t. <br /> <br /> Having no further bus/ness, meeting adjourned. <br /> <br /> Clerk to oard <br /> <br /> <br />
