840 i <br /> <br />NORTH CAROLINA <br />CABARRUS COUNTY R E S O L U T I 0 N <br /> <br /> At the regular monthly meeting, January 4, 1971, of the Cabarrus <br /> <br />County Board of Commissioners, Concord, N. C. the following resolution was <br /> <br />unanimously adopted upon motion by James, seconded by Hammett: <br /> <br /> That S. Glenn Hawfield, Jr. is appointed purchasing agent for Cabarrus <br /> <br />County until further order of this Board. Said purchasing agent is authorized <br />to issue checks and drafts from County funds to pay for purchases made for <br />the County. <br /> <br /> Upon motiOn of James, seconded by Gallimore, S. Glenn Hawfield, Jr. is <br /> <br />hereby authorized to issue and sign checks drawn on any bank account of <br />Cabarrus County located in any bank, savings and loan association, or trust <br />company and said banks are hereby authorized to honor checks so issued <br />and signed.
