Attorney for descision or recommendation for proper handling. <br /> <br /> Mr. Frank Kivett, Executive Director, Central Piedmont Regional <br /> <br />Council of Local Government~~ addressed the board. He requested guidance, <br />through regional council workshops, on the possibility of organizing a <br />staff to handle revaluation for the nine counties in Region F. He informed <br />the Board that Federal Funds are available, through the Criminal Justice <br />Planning Agency~ for selected projects in Law Enforcement and gave a brief <br />on funds allocated to the Region under the Emergency Employement Act. He <br />asked for guidance from all units on the feasibility of an Air Pollution <br />Control Program on a regional basis. <br /> <br /> A motion was made, seconded and carried to appoint Thomas L. Moose to <br /> <br /> the Planning Board for a four year term. Mr. Moose will replace Coy M. <br /> <br />Black whose term has expired. <br /> <br /> ~.
