Law enforcement officers of the sending party sha~I have the <br /> ~u~ authority to make arrests and to execute c~imina~ process in the jurisdictio~ <br /> of ~ke requesting party that is granted in G. S. 160A-288. <br /> <br /> 14. This agreement may be cancelled at any time after a resolution <br />:~ ~hat effect by the governing body of either party to this agreement has been <br />duly adopted upon the mailing of a written notice of that resolution to the chief <br />elected official of the other party. <br /> <br /> 15. This agreen~ent shall be in full force and effect from and after <br />its execution by the appropriate officials on behalf of the governing bodies of <br />both parties, its ratification by resolutions of the respective governing bodies, <br />and its recordation in the minutes of both parties. <br /> <br /> IN WITNESS WHEREOF, the County of Rowan has caused this <br />instrument to be signed in its corporate nanae on the 5rd day of J~y , <br />19 72 , by its Chairman of the Board of County Commissioners, attested by its <br />Clerk and its corporate seal affixed, and the Oo~ty of Cabar~$ <br />has caused this instrument to be signed in its corporate name, on the 7~h <br />day of August , 19 72 , by its Chai~an of the Board of Co~issi~ners, <br />attested by its Clerk and its corporate sea[ affixed, al1 on the day and year <br />first above written, and this instrument is executed in dup[icate. <br /> <br /> <br />
