With regard to other kinds of ~aw enforcement, comn~and, <br /> co~rro~· ~ . a~c~ supervision of personnel, equipment, supplies, and the like sha~l be <br /> in tke appropriate official of the requesting party as designated by its chief e~ected <br /> o~ficia~. In certain situations involving specialized equipment,s, services, or <br /> u~its with w~ich officials o£ the requesting party may not be ~amiHar, the chief <br /> elected offidal of the sending party may stipulate that detailed comman¢]~ control, <br /> arid supervision remain with an officer of the sending party, but in any event the <br /> ckief e~ected official of the requesting party or his delegate shal! have genera~ <br /> ~,c~'er ~o direct and coordinate a~ activities taken to combat ~he existent emergency <br /> conditions. <br /> <br /> 7. The chief elected official of a sending party si~al[ keep watch on <br />conditions within his juris~iction while law enforcement assistance is being furnished <br />~© t~e requesting party, and if he determines it to be necessary he may recal~ <br />part or all of the [aw enforcen~ent assistance furnished. In t~e case of a county, <br />this determination and reca[~ shah be upon the advice of the sheriff prior to taking <br />recall action in the ease of a county, the decision to recall a[~ or any part of <br />the law enforcement assistance furnished shal~ be solely within the discretion of <br />~ke cF~ief e~ected official of the sending party. Recall shah be effected through <br />communication with the chief~ elected official of the requesting party, who sha~[ <br />take immediate action in compliance with the recall request. <br /> <br /> 8. V~hile !aw enforcen~ent officers, other personae!, equipment, <br />supplies, and other material of the sending party are under the control of the <br />requesting party, the requesting party shall be responsible for feeding and housing <br />suc]~ officers and other personnel and for properly maintaining and storing such <br />equipment, supplies, and other material. <br /> <br /> 9. The requesting party shall reimburse the sen~ing party for the <br />cost to it of furnishing law enforcement assistance pursuant to this agreement. <br />This cost shall be computed by the sending party and submitted on an invoice <br />to the requesting party. ~here total costs may not be immediately subject to <br />computation, the sending party may send an invoice for part of tl~e amount due <br />and submit later invoices as fu[[ costs are determined. In co~nputing costs, the <br />sending party may include: <br /> <br /> a. The compensation, including overtime pay, payable to the <br /> law enforcement officers and other personne~ of the sending <br /> party during the time they were away from their homes or <br /> p~aces of duty. <br /> <br /> <br />
