The Board of Commissioners for the County of Cabarrus, <br /> <br />North Carolina, met in adjourned regular session at the County <br />Courthouse in Concord, North Carolina, at 11 o~clock A.M. on <br />September .12, 1972. <br /> <br /> Present: Chairman S. Glenn Hawfield, Jr., and Commis- <br /> <br />sioners ,.h~rt A. McClarv. charles Galltmore. C. Frank James. John A. Hanznett <br /> <br /> Absent = Nope ' <br /> <br /> At 11 ot¢lock A.M. the members of the Board of Commis- <br /> <br />sioners for the County of Cabarrus met with the County ~oard of <br />Elections of Cabarrus County and the two Boards, as two separate <br />bodies, separately received from' the registrars and judges of elec- <br />tion in the various precincts of the County of Cabarrus the returns <br />of the special bond election held on September 9, 1972. <br /> <br /> After said returns had been canvassed by said Board of <br /> <br /> Commissioners, such canvass being simultaneous with the canvassing <br /> <br /> thereof by the County Board of Elections in the same place, Commis- <br /> <br /> sioner Hawfield introduced the following resolution <br /> which was read= <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION CANVASSING THE RETURNS OF <br /> THE SPECIAL BOND ELECTION HELD SEPTEM- <br /> BER 9, 1972, IN THE COUNTY OF CABARRUS <br /> AND DETEP~4INING AND DECLARING THE RE- <br /> SULT THEREOF <br /> <br /> BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of Commissioners for the <br /> <br /> County of .Cabarrus = <br /> <br /> section 1. The returns of the special bond election <br /> <br /> held in the County of Cabarrus on September 9, 1972, having been <br /> received fro~' the proper election officers and having been can- <br /> vassed, the Board has found and determined and does hereby de- <br /> clare: <br /> <br /> <br />
