" _.~e.~oard acknowledged receipt of a petition from the citizens of Kannapolis <br /> <br />requesting that two (2) men occupy the patrol cars. The petition was turned over <br /> <br />to Sheriff Roberts. <br /> <br /> Motion made by McClary, seconded by Gallimore, and carried to accept the following <br /> <br />road petitions; <br /> <br /> Hillside - Request for Addition <br /> Dead end road off Old Highway 29 - Request for Addition <br /> Erickson Court - Request for Addition <br /> <br /> Gallimore made motion to hold a public hearing at the November meeting on the <br /> <br />question of farm assessment at farm values rather than actual values. Vote carried. <br /> <br /> Upon motion by McClary, seconded by Hammett, the resolutions entitled: <br /> <br />"Resolution canvassing the Returns of the Special Bond Election held September 9, <br />1972 in the County of Cabarrus, and determining and Declaring the Result Thereof" <br />and "Resolution adopting a Statement of the Result of the Special Bond Election <br />held September 9, 1972 in the CoUnty of Cabarrus, and ~r~viding for the Recording, <br />Filing and Publication Thereof" were unanimously passed. These resolutions are <br />recorded on page 162 and become a part of these minutes. <br /> <br /> Having no futher business, meeting adjourned. <br /> <br /> ' ~le ~k-to Boatid <br /> <br /> <br />
