RESOLUTION <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, a public hearing was held at the November meeting <br /> <br /> of the Cabarrus County Commissioners, after advertisement, for citizens <br /> <br /> to express their opinions on the question of farm assessment at farm values; <br /> <br /> AND WHEREAS, as a result of the hearing and after consideration <br /> <br /> of the matter, the Board of Commissioners affirms that farm land should be <br /> assessed at its value for farming purposes; <br /> <br /> AND WI-IE]~EAS, the statutes of the State of North Carolina do <br /> <br /> not permit county governments to assess farm land in this manner; <br /> <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, the Board of Commissioners of Cabarrus <br /> <br /> County recommend that said statutes be changed to provide that farm land be <br /> assessed at agricultural values. <br /> <br />WILLIAMS, WtLLKFORD <br /> <br /> h I~OG~R <br /> <br /> ATTORNEYI AT LAW <br /> <br />CONCORD, NORTH CAROLINA <br /> <br /> <br />
