Fisher stated that an engineer had been contacted to <br /> <br />determine the feasibility of the construction of a sanitary district in <br /> <br />the Sou~hwood Park area. <br /> <br /> Motion by James, seconded by Hammett, and carried to accept the <br />following road petitions: <br /> <br /> Request for addition - Eastside Central <br /> Henry Stall Road <br /> County Road ~1444 <br /> Wilder Road <br /> <br /> The Board authorized George Griffin to hire Architect Pease as <br /> <br />a consultant for th~ interior decoration of the new courthouse. <br /> <br /> A group of citizens consisting of Mrs. Sam Perkins, Mrs. O. L. <br />Honeycutt, Carolyn Fink, Rose Stanley, Henrietta Allen, Mrs. Joe Safrit <br />and James Mason presented a petition stating "We the undersigned, request <br />that the County Co~Lissioners appropriate the funds for the badly needed <br />temporary classrooms in the county school system. We hope these classrooms <br />will be ready for the fall term. These temporary classrooms will be assigned <br />to the following schools: Northwest Cabarrus - 1, Odell - 4, Harrisburg - 4, <br /> <br /> <br />
