RESOLUTION <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, CORUM F. MILLER was appointed Veterans <br /> Service Officer for Cabarrus County in 1948 and has served continuously <br /> in said capacity since said date; and whereas, he performed his duties <br /> during said period of time in an exemplary and outstanding manner and <br /> has rendered valuable assistance to veterans and the families of veterans <br /> helping them to receive the benefits to which they were entitled under <br /> the law, including hospital care, scholarships for minors, and other <br /> benefits; and whereas, he has been available at all times and has <br /> performed his duties in a courteous, considerate and efficient manner; <br /> and whereas, Corum F. Miler retired January 31, 1973, and the Board <br /> of Commissioners of Cabarrus County desire to express the appreciation <br /> of said Board to Corum F. Miller; <br /> <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that by the retire- <br /> ment of Corum F. Miller the County of Cabarrus has lost the services <br /> of a loyal and dedicated public servant and the Board of Commissioners <br /> commends him for the exemplary manner in which he performed his <br /> duties and wishes him well in his retirement. <br /> <br />WILLIAMS.
