RESOLUTION <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the Board of Commissioners of Cabarrus County, <br /> North Carolina, have been previously notified by the office of Water and <br /> Air Resources of the State of North Carolina that said office will support <br /> the use of a regional plan for the treatment of the water and sewer problems <br /> of Cabarrus County; <br /> <br /> AND W~I-IEREAS, the said Board and the Board of Light and <br /> Water Commissioners of the City of Concord have agreed to adopt said <br /> regional approach based on engineering studies of the sewage collection <br /> and treatment needs of the City of Concord and Cab~rus County; <br /> <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Board of <br /> Commissioners of Cabarrus County hereby adopts as its policy the parti- <br /> cipation in the development of a regional program for the development of <br /> a sanitary sewer system and waste treatment plant and by this resolution <br /> hereby notifies the office of the Water and Air Resources of North Caro- <br /> lina, the Board of Light & Water Commissioners of the City of Concord, <br /> and the Board of Directors of Cannon Mills Company of its said intended <br /> participation. <br /> <br /> BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS <br /> OF CABARRUS COUNTY <br /> <br /> 9 <br /> by: <br /> ~(S/Gienn Hawfield,~. ) -- <br /> CHAIRMAN <br /> <br /> ATTEST: <br /> <br /> (Richard Wade) <br /> <br />WILLIAMS.
