Heilig Mr. Billy Harley <br /> <br /> The Board accepted a petition requesting an ambulance for Mount Pleasant and <br /> <br />will take it into consideration. It was explained that they would like to place <br /> <br />an ambulance some where south of Concord. <br /> <br /> Attorney Boger stated that the County has a $4,44§.00 lein against the property <br /> <br />of Mary W. Wherry and that Dennis Carpenter wants to purchase the land for $4,000.00. <br />Attorney Boger said that he had looked at the property and felt like this was a <br />fair price. Hammett made motion to accept the offer of $4,000.00 fwem Dennis <br />Carpenter for the property. Motion seconded by Gallimore and vot~ carried. <br /> <br /> Attorney Boger reported that state approval could not be obtained for the <br /> <br />fire prevention code until they had their meeting which would be later in the month. <br /> <br /> Gallimore made motion to amend the home agents budget to help defray the cost <br /> <br />of part time help white a member of the staff was on sick leave. Mo~ion seconded <br /> <br />by Hammett and vote carried. <br /> <br /> McClary made motion, seconded by Gallimore and carried, to invite all the <br /> <br />County Commissioner candidates to attend all ~he meetings so they can become <br /> <br />familiar with the duties and activities of the Board. <br /> <br /> Having no luther business, meeting adjourned. <br /> <br /> Cierk~to the Board <br /> <br /> <br />
