292 <br /> <br /> Years of Service Percentage Increase <br /> <br /> 18 9 % <br /> 20 10 % <br /> 25 12 % <br /> <br /> (3) Officers shall be entitled to receive the higher of the benefits <br /> available under the presently existing plan or the plan adopted <br /> hereby, until such time as the benefits under this plan become <br /> equal to or more than the benefits under the old plan. <br /> <br /> (4) It is further resolved that all present officers shall receive full <br /> credit for all prior continuous service. <br /> <br /> Motion by Commissioner Gallimore, seconded by Commissioner McClary and carried, to enter into <br /> an ~greement with Two Way Radio, Inc. to provide maintenance of communications equipment at the <br /> ambulance site. <br /> <br /> Commissioner Gallimore discussed resolutions authorizing the Centralina Council of Governments <br /> for Region F to represent Cabarrus County at Multi-Region Health Planning Council meetings. The <br /> Board approved the resolutions and instructed William R. Wade to complete and submit resolutions <br /> to Centralina Council of Governments. <br /> <br /> Commissioner McClary made motion to adopt the resolution to apply for the Regional Training <br /> Grant for Law Enforcement. Motion seconded by Commissioner Gallimore and vote unanimous%y carried. <br /> <br /> Motion by Commissioner McClary to make application for a Records System for Law Enforcement. <br /> Motion seconded by Commissioner Jamms and vote carried. <br /> <br />A letter from the Department of Human Resources reported that Miss Sarah Walker had been <br />appointed as a member of the Cabarrus County Social Services Board. <br /> <br /> Commissioner McClary made motion to re-appoint Reverend Richard M. Koehneke, and Mr. Emanuel <br /> Stowe and to appoint Robin Sossoman, Michael Collins, Chris Tucker, and Denise Miller as youth <br /> representatives to the Community Relations Commission. Motion seconded by Commissioner Gallimore, <br /> and vote unanimously carried. <br /> <br /> Chairman Hawfield and Commissioner Gallimore are to investigate the sanitary landfill and its <br /> life expectancy and report. <br /> <br /> Having no further buSiness, meeting adjourned. <br /> <br /> BoArd <br /> <br /> <br />
