ORDINANCE TO AMEND 1973-74 ANNUAL OPERATING BUDGET - VETERANS SERVICE <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, expenditures for the following Veterans Service accounts <br />have exceeded the budget appropriations in the 1973-74 Annual Operating <br />Budget in the amounts shown: <br /> <br /> VETERANS SERVICE OFFICER <br /> 532 Office Expense $ ].26.31 <br /> <br /> TOTAL OVER-EXPENDED ACCOUNT $ 126.31 (T) <br />and; <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the budgeted appropriations for the following Veterans <br />Service accounts show unexpended and excess funds in at least the amounts <br />aa shown: <br /> <br /> 534 Retirement & FICA $ 126.31 <br /> TOTAL UNEXPENDED AND EXCESS FUNDS $ 126.31 (T) <br />and; <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, necessary adjustment can be made to the foregoing appropriations <br />without the need of increasing the overall 1973-74 Veterans Service Annual <br />Operating Budget; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the County Administrator is authorized and instructed to <br />make the necessary transferrance of funds from those accounts that are <br />unexpended to those accounts that are over-expended. <br /> <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, ORDAINED AND DECREED by the Board <br />of County Commissioners for the County of Cabarrus: <br /> <br /> Section 1. That the 1973-74 Annual Operating Budget Ordinance as <br />adopted on July 9, 1973, and recorded on Page 225 of Minute Book 16, <br />is hereby amended as follows: <br /> <br /> (a) The budgeted appropriations for the Veterans Service accounts <br /> as itemized in this ordinance are hereby increased in the <br /> amounts as shown, totaling $ 126.31. <br /> <br /> (b) The budgeted appropriations for the Veterans Service accounts <br /> as itemized in this ordinance are hereby decreased in the <br /> amounts as shown, totaling $126.31, with that total being <br /> re-distributed among the over-expended. <br /> <br /> This 9th day of September 1974. <br /> <br />'S.,~Glenn Hawfleld,~r. ~ NORTH CAROLINA <br />Chairman <br /> <br />Attest: <br /> <br />Clerk to J the B~ard <br /> <br /> <br />
