ORDINANCE TO AMEND 1973-74 ANNUAL OPERATING BUDGET - MENTAL HEALTH CLINIC <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the Mental Health Clinic has an audit annually, w~ch is <br />prepared by a Certified Accounting Firm and is separate and apart from the <br />audit that is conducted with respect to the Cabarrus County accounting records; <br /> <br />and; <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the Federal, State and Other Aid were included in the Cabarrus <br />County Annual Operating Budget as though the funds were transmitted to the Mental <br />He&lth Clinic through the County Accounting Office; <br /> <br /> NOW, THEKEPOP~, BE IT RESOLVED, ORDAINED AND DECREED by this Board <br />of County Come~ssiouers for the County of Cabarrus, that: <br /> <br /> Section 1. The 1973-74 Annual Operating Budget Ordinance as adopted <br />on July 9, 1973, and recorded on Page 225 of M/nute Book 16, be amended as <br />follows: <br /> <br /> (a) That the budgeted amounts for the Federal, State, and Other Aid <br /> in the amount of $131,976.00 be eld~m~nated from the Cabarrus <br /> County Budget, since these funds accrued directly to the Mental <br /> Health Clinic and did not pass through the County Accounting <br /> Office. <br /> <br /> (b) That the appropriation ledger card be reduced to the amount <br /> actually budgeted as an obligation of Cabarrus County, in the <br /> amount of $92,153.00. <br /> <br /> (c)That the appropriations to the Mental Health Clinic be reduced <br /> to $92,153.'00. <br /> <br /> BE IT FURTHER ORDAINED that the overall 1973-74 Annual Operating <br />Budget Ordinance for the Mental Health Clinic, as adopted on July 9, 1973, <br />be decreased from the total of $224,129.00, a net decrease of $131,976.00. <br /> <br /> This 9th day of September 1974. <br /> <br /> BOARD OF COUNTY CONMISSlO~ <br /> COUNTY OF.
