ORDINANCE TO AMEND 1973-74 ANN~AL OPERATING BUDGE'r - HEALTH DEPARTMENT <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, expenditures for the following Health Department accounts <br />have exceeded the budget appropriations in the 1973-74 Annual Operating <br />Budget in the amounts as shown: <br /> <br /> H EALTtt DEPARTMENT <br /> Salaries - Staff $ 79,036.25 <br /> Clinicians & Consultants 6,453.5] <br /> Health Board fi57.52 <br /> Travel 1, ] 28.07 <br /> Office Expense 12,490.30 <br /> Retirement & FICA 4,694.5]. <br /> Hospital Insurance 21.06 <br /> Hospital Insurance - County Paid 660.30 <br /> Home Health 786.15 <br /> <br /> TOTAL OVER-EXPENDED ACCOUNTS $ 105,727.67 (T) <br /> and; <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the budgeted appropriations for the following Health <br />Department accounts show unexpended and excess funds in at least the <br />amounts as shown: <br /> <br /> Sanitary Landfill $ 33,319.29 <br /> TOTAL UNEXPENDED AND EXCESS FUNDS $ 33,319.29 (T) <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, it is estimated that the total revenue for 1973-74 will <br /> exceed the amount budgeted by approximately $51,179.04. <br /> <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, ORDAINED AND DECREED by this <br /> Board of County Commissioners for the County of Cabarrus, that: <br /> <br /> Section 1. The 1973-74 Annual Operating Budget Ordinance as adopted <br /> on July 9, 1973, and recorded on Page 225 of Minute Book 16, be amended as <br /> follows: <br /> <br /> (a) That the budgeted amounts for the over-expended accounts be <br /> increased in the amounts as shown, totaling $ 105,727.67. <br /> <br /> (b) That the budgeted amounts for the accounts showing unexpended <br /> balances be decreased in the amount of the unexpended, totaling <br /> $33,319.29, with that total being re-distributed among the <br /> over-expended. <br /> <br /> (c) That $72,408.38 of the excess revenue co].lections be distributed <br /> among the over-expended accounts. <br /> <br /> (d) That $191,000.00 from Federal Revenue Sharing Trust Fund be <br /> decreased in the Landfill Account, and to be moved from ~leaith <br /> Department budget to the Federal Revenue Sharing Trust Fund <br /> budget. <br /> <br /> (e) That budgeted revenue be increased in the amount of $72,408.38, <br /> with a corresponding decrease in appropriations J.n the amount <br /> of $191,000.00 (Sanitary Landfill), for a total Revenue Budget <br /> of $613,644.38. <br /> <br /> BE IT FURTHER ORDAINED that the overall 1973-74 Annual Operating <br /> Budget Ordinance for the Health Department, as adopted on July 9, ].973, be <br /> decreased from the total of $732,236.00, a net decrease of $1].8,591.62. <br /> <br /> This 9th day of September 1974. <br /> BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS <br /> ~ / ~ COUNTY OF CABARRUS <br /> <br /> 'S., ~zenn Hawfi~ld ,/.~r.
