ORDINANCE TO AMEND 1973-74 ANNUAL OPERATING BUDGET - REVALUATION FUND <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, expenditures for the following Reva].uation Fund accounts <br /> have exceeded the budgeted appropriations in the 1973-74 Annual Operating <br /> Budget in the amounts as shown: <br /> <br /> REVALUATION D%~ND <br /> Revaluation Contract $119,700.00 <br /> Board of Equalization & Review 673.88 <br /> <br /> TOTAL OVER-EXPENDED ACCOUNTS $120,373.88 (T) <br /> and; <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the budgeted appropriations for the following Revaluation <br /> Fund accounts show unexpended and excess funds in at least the amounts as <br /> shown: <br /> <br /> REVALUATION FUND <br /> Salary - Cartographer $ .08 <br /> Salary - Staff 41.07 <br /> Office Supplies 1,480.43 <br /> Auto Expense 314.42 <br /> Retirement & FICA 590.28 <br /> Hospital Insurance 183.80 <br /> TOTAL UNEXPENDED AND EXCESS FUNDS $ 2,610.08 (T) <br /> <br />and, <br /> <br />WHEREAS, it i.s estimated that total revenue for 1973-74 will exceed <br />the amount budgeted by approximately $ 117,763.80. <br /> <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, ORDAINED AND DECREED by this Board <br />of County Commissioners for the County of Cabarrus, that: <br /> <br /> Section i. The 1973-74 Annual Operating Budget Ordinance as <br />adopted on July 9, 1973, and recorded on Page 225 of Minute Book 16, be <br />amended as follows: <br /> <br /> (a) That the budgeted amounts for departmental accounts as itemized <br /> in this ordinance amendment be increased in the amount as <br /> shown, totaling $ 120,373.88. <br /> <br /> (b) That the budgeted amounts for the over-expended amounts as <br /> listed above be decreased in the amount of the expended, <br /> totaling $2,610.08, with that total being re-distributed <br /> among the over-expended accounts. <br /> <br /> (c) That $98,245.87 in the Revaluation Fund Reserve be appropriated <br /> and applied to the over-expended accounts. <br /> <br /> (d) That $19,517.93 of the excess revenue collections be distributed <br /> among the over-expended. <br /> <br /> (e) That budgeted revenue be increased in the amount of $1.9,517.93 <br /> plus the approvriated Reserve of $98,245.87 making total Revenue <br /> Budget $203,407,56.' <br /> <br /> BE IT FURTHER ORDAINED that the overall 1973-74 Annual Operating <br />Budget Ordinance as adopted on July 9, 1973, be increased from the total <br />of $85,643,76, a net increase of $ 117,763.80. <br /> <br /> This 9th day of September 1974 <br /> <br /> , ,c,,?.. .
