ORDINANCE TO AMEND 1973-74 ANNUAL OPERATING BUDGET - NEW COURTHOUSE FUND <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners issued $1,500,000 in <br />bonds for the purpose of erecting a New Cabarrus County Courthouse. The <br />bonds were authorized by a vote of the registered voters of Cabarrus County <br />and were issued subsequent to tbs adoption of the Fiscal Year 1973-74 <br />Annual Operating Budget Ordinance, <br /> <br />and; <br /> <br /> WHEP472%S, expenditures for the New Courthouse Fund exceeded the <br />budgeted appropriations in the 1973-74 Annual Operating Budget in the <br />amount as shown: <br /> <br /> NgW COURI~IO~S~ ~ <br /> <br /> Construction Contracts $ 873,511.12 <br /> Other Expense ... 12~.364.41 <br /> TOTAL OVER-EXPENDED ACCOUNT $ 885,875.53 (T) <br />amd; <br /> <br /> WHERF~AS, it is estimated that total revenues from Bond Proceeds <br />and Donations will exceed the amount incurred as an expenditure by approximately <br /> <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, ORDAINED AND DECREED by this Board <br />of County Commissioners for the County of Cabarrus, that: <br /> <br /> Section 1.
