ORDINANCE TO AMEND 1973/74 ANNUAL OPERATING BUDGET -- I~NDFILL EQUIPMENT WHEREAS, the Board of County Con~nissioners voted to assume the responsibility for the Cabarrus County Landfill Operation subsequent to the adoption of the 1973/74 Annual Operating Budget Ordinance, and; WHEREAS, expenditures for the Landfill Equipment was originally budgeted in the Health Department section of the County 1973/74 Annual Operating Budget Ordinance, and; WHEREAS, the Landfill Equipment appropriations were removed from the Health Department section of the Annual Operating Budget Ordinance, since these expenditures were paid directly from the Federal Revenue Sharing Fund, and; WHEREAS, the revenue to defray these expenditures were received in a prior year and were recorded in the Cabarrus County Audit Report dated June 30, 1973. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, ORDAINED AND DECREED by this Board of County Commissioners for the County of Cabarrus, that: Section 1. The 1973/7/4 Annual Operating Budget Ordinance as adopted on July 9, 1973, and recorded on Page 225 of Minute Book 1.6, be amended as follows: (a) That the budgeted amounts for the Landfill Equipment be increased in the amount of $195,061.40. (b) That the budgeted revenue be increased in the amount of $195,061.40, and distributed to the over-expended accounts. BE iT FURTHER ORDAINED that the overall 1973/74 ·Annual Operating Budget Ordinance as adopted on July 9, 1973, be increased from the total of Zero ($.00) in the Landfill Equipment, a net increase of $195,061.40.
