~ Upon motion by Commissioner gallimore, secom~ed by Commissioner McOlary, the <br />Fire Prevention Code, 1970 Edition and revisions thereof, recommended by the American <br /> <br />Insurance Association, is hereby adopted as the Cabarrus County Fire Prevention Ordinance <br />with the exception that Section 14.4 on page 60 is modified and amended by Section 901 <br />of the State Building Code for sprinkler requirements and Article 24 is amended by <br />Volume 3 of the State Building Code for oil burning requirements. <br /> <br /> This ordinance is adopted pursuant to permission granted by the State Building <br /> <br />Code Council at its meeting on March 12, 1974. Vote unanimously carried. <br /> <br /> Upon motion by Commissioner McClary the department heads were appointed to serve <br /> <br />on the Cabarrus County Safety Council as directed by Occupational Safety and Health Act. <br /> <br />Motion seconded by Commissioner James and vote carried. <br /> <br /> Having no futher business, meeting adjourned. <br /> <br /> Cle~ to the Board <br /> <br /> <br />
