Harry Campbell, who lives in the Rimer Community, asked that something be done about <br /> <br />wild dogs. He stated that three calves had been killed this summer and suggested that <br />possibly the firemen could be deputized to kill these dogs. The Board will talk with <br />the sheriff and consider this possibility. <br /> <br /> Pursuant to a request from Charles Bost, Commissioner Hammett made motion to reappoint <br /> <br />Dr. A. L. Barringer and Thomas E. Allison to the Cabarrus County Community Relations <br />Commission for another three year term. Motion seconded by Commissioner Hinson and vote <br />carried. <br /> <br /> Pauline Leigh and Ann Black, who work in the Register of Deeds Office, complained <br /> <br />that the other employees in that office had been given raises. <br /> <br /> A letter from Don Howell, Director of Utilities for the City of Concord, asked that <br /> <br />the Board adopt an additional resolution which was needed by changing EPA regulations. <br />Commissioner McClary made motion to adopt the following resolution as presented. Motion <br />seconded by Commissioner Hammett and vote carried unanimously. <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION OF COUNTY OF CABARRUS, NORTH CAROLINA <br /> ACCEPTING AND AGREEING TO IMPLEMENTATION <br /> OF THE 201 FACILITIES PLAN FOR THE <br /> GREATER CONCORD FACILITY PLANNING AREA <br /> <br /> WHERF~AS, the County of Cabarrus has heretofore agreed to cooperate and <br /> <br /> participate with the City of Concord, the Town of Harrisburg, the Town of Mount <br /> Pleasant, the Jackson Park Sanitary District, the Kannapolis Sanitary District, <br /> the Parkwood Sanitary District, and the Royal Oaks Sanitary District in the <br /> preparation of a "Section 201 Facilities Plan" as required by Pmblic Law 92-500, <br /> and in conformity with Federal Regulations governing facilities planning, and <br /> for the purpose of Federal grant-in-aid assistance such planning is a prerequisite: <br /> and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the 201 Facilities Plan has been completed and reviewed by the <br /> <br /> County of Cabarrus; <br /> <br /> NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED THAT: The Board of Commissioners of Cabarrus <br /> <br /> County does hereby accept and agree to the implementation of the "Section 201 <br /> Facilities Plan" as required by Public Law 92-500, and in conformity with <br /> Section 35.917-6 of the Rules and Regulations governing construction grants for <br /> wastewater treatment works. <br /> <br /> Attorney Boger discussed and made the following recommendations, which were approved, <br /> <br />on the requests from James Cole, Attorney for approximately 234 Cabarrus County property owners. <br /> <br />Terry Rowland, Bill Mitchum and Bill Hester be present and prepared for questioning by <br /> <br />James Cole at 1:30 P.M. on Thursday, August 7, 1975. He further recommended th~ the request <br /> <br />for a court reporter be denied. <br /> <br /> The Board asked that Terry Rowland allow property owners to file for land use as long <br /> <br />as the Board of Equalization and Review were still processing complaints. <br /> <br /> <br />
