Commissioner Hinson and vote carried. <br /> <br /> W. E. Cochran, Jr. presented a request from Jackson Park Sanitary District that that <br />Commissioners adopt the Water/Sewer Functional Plan and Program Preliminary as developed by <br />the Central Piedmont Regional Council of Governments as such plan is modified by the Greater <br />Concord 201 Facilities Plan prepared by Pierson & Whitman, Engineers, in connection with the <br />Rocky River Regional Wastewater Treatment System as its Official Water and Sewer Plan for <br />Cabarrus County until said plan is substituted by a more up-to-date plan. This request was <br />made with the understanding that they have an excellent chance for a substancial grant from <br />FHA if it is adopted. Commissioner Hammett made motion to pass the report to the Planning <br />Board for study and recommendation at the September meeting. Motion seconded by Commissioner <br />Milloway and vote carried with Commissioner Hinson abstaining. <br /> <br /> Commissioner Hammett made motion to amend the budget to increase the appropriation to <br /> <br />the library by $10,000.00. Motion seconded by Commissioner Hinson and vote carried. <br /> <br /> Upon motion of Commissioner Hammett, seconded by Commissioner Hinson and carried, to <br /> <br />approve the addition of Maryland Avenue to the State Road System. <br /> <br /> Commissioner Hinson made motion that there be no charge for the vending area for the <br /> <br />blind in the new Courthouse. Motion seconded by Commissioner McClary and vote carried. <br /> <br /> Having no fu~her business, meeting adjourned. <br /> <br /> <br />
