without first obtaining said permit or permits, shall pay twice the stated fee required <br /> <br /> for said permit or permits. <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the present fee schedule for electrical inspections for Cabarrus County <br /> <br /> provides that the owner of the property involved shall pay the electrical inspection fee; <br /> <br /> AND WHEREAS, it is deemed best that the electrical contractor securing said permit <br /> <br /> shall also be liable for said electrical inspection fee; <br /> <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that both the owner of the property involved and the <br /> <br /> electrical contractor shall be liable for the permit fee for electrical inspections payable <br /> to the Building Inspector of Cabarrus County and that the Building Inspector is authorized <br /> to collect skid fee from either of said persons. <br /> <br /> Upon motion of Commissioner Hammett, seconded by Commissioner Milloway and carried, a road <br /> <br />petition for the paving and maintenance improvement of Abbey Lane was approved. <br /> <br /> Chairman Hawfield read a letter from Elise Litaker stating that she did not want to perform <br /> <br />the farm census this year. <br /> <br /> The Board discussed a letter from Logan Community Day Care Association asking about day care <br /> <br />funds.
