11 <br /> <br /> the disbursement of fonds. <br /> <br /> BE IT ORDAINED by the Board of Commissioners of the <br /> <br /> County of Cabarrus, North Carolina that the following amend- ~ <br /> ment be made~.to..the budget ordinance for the fiscal year. <br /> <br /> ending June 30, 1977: ~ ~. <br /> <br /> To provide for federal and state funds for the Nutrition <br /> for the Elderly. <br /> General Fund <br /> Revenue <br /> <br /> Federal and State Funds $92,223.00 <br /> <br /> Expenditures <br /> <br /> Nutrition for the Elderly $92,223.00 <br /> <br /> Copies of this budget amendment shall be delivered to the <br /> Finance Officer and the Budget Officer for their direction in <br /> the disbursement of funds. <br /> <br /> Upon motion of Commissioner Cook, seconded by Commissioner <br />Hammett and unanimously carried, the following resolution was <br />approved: <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, a petition has been duly presented to the <br /> Cabarrus County Board of Commissioners by more than fifteen <br /> percent (15%) of the resident freeholders living and residing <br /> in the Enochvill Fire District and, <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, under the provisions of the North Carolina <br /> General Statutes, the Board of Commissioners shall therefore <br /> call an election in said district for the purpose of sub- <br /> mitting to the qualified voters therein the question of <br /> levying and collecting a special tax on all taxable property <br /> in said district for the purpose of providing fire protection <br /> in said district. <br /> <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County <br /> Commissioners of Cabarrus County that the Cabarrus County <br /> Board of Elections hold an election for the Enochville Fire <br /> District to determine the question o~. l~vlfing and collecting <br /> a speciat!~tax on all taxable property in said~district for <br /> the purpose of providing fire protection in said district and <br /> that said election be held on May 3, 1977, if possible and that <br /> <br /> <br />
