BE IT ORDAINED by the Board of Commissioners of the County of Cabarrus, North Carolina that the following amend- ~ ment be made~.to..the budget ordinance for the fiscal year. ending June 30, 1977: ~ ~. To provide for federal and state funds for the Nutrition for the Elderly. General Fund Revenue Federal and State Funds $92,223.00 Expenditures Nutrition for the Elderly $92,223.00 Copies of this budget amendment shall be delivered to the Finance Officer and the Budget Officer for their direction in the disbursement of funds. Upon motion of Commissioner Cook, seconded by Commissioner Hammett and unanimously carried, the following resolution was approved: WHEREAS, a petition has been duly presented to the Cabarrus County Board of Commissioners by more than fifteen percent (15%) of the resident freeholders living and residing in the Enochvill Fire District and, WHEREAS, under the provisions of the North Carolina General Statutes, the Board of Commissioners shall therefore call an election in said district for the purpose of sub- mitting to the qualified voters therein the question of levying and collecting a special tax on all taxable property in said district for the purpose of providing fire protection in said district. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners of Cabarrus County that the Cabarrus County Board of Elections hold an election for the Enochville Fire District to determine the question o~. l~vlfing and collecting a speciat!~tax on all taxable property in said~district for the purpose of providing fire protection in said district and that said election be held on May 3, 1977, if possible and that
