40 <br /> <br />Request for Budget Amendment for Board of <br />Elections Department <br /> <br />Request transfer of $3,700 from Contingency Account to be <br /> <br />applied to the following accounts: <br /> <br />430-01 Fees Paid to Board Members $ 150.00 <br />430-03 Part Time Salaries $ 1,050.00 <br />430-20 Election Expense $ 2,500.00 <br /> <br />$ 3,700.00 <br /> <br />Copies of this budget amendment shall be delivered <br />to the Finance Officer and the Budget Officer for <br />their direction in the disbursement of funds. <br /> <br />Adopted this 9th day of June , 1977. <br /> <br />The following bids for Emergency Services radio communications equipment were <br /> <br />received: <br /> <br />Doug's Electronic Enterprises <br />Two Way Radio Service, Inc. <br />General Electric Company <br /> <br />$ 4,569.00 <br />$ 3,991.00 <br />$ 4,022.00 <br /> <br />Commissioner Hammett made motion to award the bid to the low bidder, Two Way Radio <br /> <br />Service, Inc. Motion seconded by Commissioner Cook and vote carried. <br /> <br /> Two bids were received for Law Enforcement Winter uniforms. They were as follows: <br /> <br />Fligel Uniform Company $ 12,202.05 and Hub Uniform Co. $ 12,887.00 <br /> <br />Commissioner McClary made motion that the bid be awarded to Fligel Uniform Company <br />with a low bid of $12,202.05. MOtion seconded by Commissioner Hammett and vote <br />carried. <br /> <br /> No action was taken on the request for participation in National Youth Sports <br /> <br />Program at Barber Scotia College. <br /> <br /> Commissioner Hammett made motion to re-appoint the following people to the <br /> <br />Harrisburg Zoning Board of Adjustments: Sidney W. Hall, Yates M. McCachren, Jr. and <br /> <br />Charles D. Morris. Motion seconded by Commissioner Cook and vote carried. <br /> <br /> Upon motion of Commissioner Hammett, seconded by Commissioner Cook and carried, <br /> <br />the following people were appointed to the Mt. Pleasant Zoning Board of Adjustment: <br /> <br />George F. Barnhardt and Duance D. McDougall. <br /> <br /> Commissioner Hammett made motion to appoint Archie Layton and D. J. Honeycutt <br /> <br />and reappoint William B. Eudy and Leonard Ritchie to the Mount Pleasant Planning <br /> <br />and Zoning Board. Motion seconded by Commissioner Cook and vote carried. <br /> <br /> Chairman Hawfield reported that the water line at the county buildings should be <br />changed to connect to the 12 inch main line in front of the buildings. The Board of <br />Light and Water will install a 4 inch water meter for $475.00 and Gaddy (who is doing <br />the renovation work) will connect to Building A for $636.00.
