147 <br /> <br /> Mr. Frank Roberts, Community Development Coordinator, <br />presented a grant application in the amount of $498,000 for <br />sewer facilities in the Sidestown - Shankletown community. <br /> <br /> UPON MOTION of COmmissioner Hmamett, seconded by <br />Commissioner Cook and unanimously carried, authorization was <br />given to proceed with the grant application to the Department <br />of Housing and Urban Development for a sewer system for the <br />Sidestown - Shankletown community in the amount of $498,000. <br /> <br /> UPON MOTION of Commissioner Hammett, seconded by Commissioner <br />Cook and unanimously carried, the abandonment of Florence <br />Avenue was approved. <br /> <br /> UPON MOTION of Commissioner McClary, seconded by <br />Commissioner Cook and unanimously carried, the request for <br />addition of Burlwood Road to the State Highway Maintenance <br />System was approved. <br /> <br /> A report was given by the County Manager on the status <br /> <br /> of liability insurance for the county. <br /> <br /> The bid for fencing work at various recreational grounds <br /> <br /> was awarded to the low bidder, Wilson Fence Co., Inc., in <br /> <br /> the amount of $5,809.40. <br /> <br /> With no further business, the meeting was adjourned for <br /> <br /> the Board to inspect Building "C". <br /> <br />CLERK TO THE BOARD <br /> <br /> <br />
