154 <br /> <br />until the next meeting. <br /> <br /> The following dates were set for adjourned meetings <br /> <br />June 20, 1978 at 2:00 P.M. and June 22, 1978 at 2:00 P.M. <br />A public hearing on the proposed budget will be held on <br />June 29, 1978 at 2:00 P.M. <br /> <br /> UPON MOTION of Commissioner Milloway, seconded by <br />Commissioner Cook and carried unanimously, the regular <br />meeting of the Board of Commissioners for July will be <br />held on July 17, 1978 at 9.:30 A.M. <br /> <br /> UPON MOTION of Commissioner Hammett, seconded by <br />Commissioner Milloway and unanimously carried, Section 5 of <br />the Cabarrus County Personnel Ordinance is amended as <br />follows: <br /> <br /> Section 5. Vacation Leave - Manner of Accumulation <br /> <br />All employees shall earn vacation leave at the following <br /> rate: <br /> <br /> (a) Each employee with fewer than one (1) <br /> year service shall earn vacation leave <br /> at the rate of five-twelfths (5/12) <br /> day per completed month, but not more <br /> than five (5) days per completed year <br /> of service. <br /> <br /> (b) Each " employee with one (1) year but <br /> less than five (5) years service shall <br /> earn vacation leave at a rate of five- <br /> sixths (5/6)' day per completed month, <br /> but not more than the ten (10) days per <br /> completed year of service. <br /> <br /> (c) Each employee with five (5) or more years <br /> service shall earn vacation leave at a <br /> rate of one and one-fourth (1 1/4) days <br /> per completed month, but not more than <br /> fifteen (15) days per completed year of <br /> service. <br /> <br /> UPON MOTION of Commissioner Hammett, seconded by Commis- <br /> sioner Cook and carried unanimously, a public hearing for the <br /> purpose of renaming Woodberry Drive will be held July 17, 1978 <br /> at 10:00 A.M. <br /> <br /> UPON MOTION of Commissioner Milloway, seconded by Commis- <br /> sioner Hammett and unanimously carried, the following budget <br /> <br />amendment was approved: <br /> GENERAL FUND <br /> INCREASE.
