The total requirement for water and <br /> <br /> sewer is $10,800,000. <br /> <br /> Mr. Walter Safrit, Jr. 'appealed to the Board on behalf of <br /> Cabarrus Meals on Wheels requesting a $5,000.00 contribution <br /> to defray administrative costs. <br /> <br /> Mr. Joe Orland, representing the various school systems <br /> in the county, ~sked the. Board to consider their requests <br /> for additional funds. <br /> <br /> UPON MOTION of~Commissioner Hammett, seconded by Commis- <br /> sioner Cook and unanimously carried, the Chairman Hawfield <br /> was authorized to'sign an application for federal reimburse- <br /> ment of $7,019.20 for a partial payment of the Environmental <br /> Impact Assessment Report of the Airport Study. <br /> <br /> Flowe's Store Fire District requested a bond election <br /> for the purpose of a' special fire tax.
