152 <br /> <br />Mr. John Boger read a resolution requesting $977.00 <br /> <br />federal funds and $54.00 local cash match for the purchase <br /> <br />of a portable radio for the Kannapolis Police Department. <br /> <br />UPON MOTION of Commissioner Cook, seconded by Commis- <br /> <br />sioner Hammett and carried unanimously, the resolution for <br /> <br />the purchase of a portable radio was approved. <br /> <br /> UPON MOTION of Commissioner Cook, seConded by Commis- <br /> <br />sioner McClary and unanimously carried, Ms. Linda Rhodes <br /> <br />Was reappointed to another three year term to the Emergen- <br /> <br />cy Medical Services Advisory Council. Her term will. expire <br /> <br />June 30, 1981. Action was deferred on the appointment of a <br /> <br />replacement to complete the term of Mr. Harold McEachern <br /> <br />which expires June 30, 1979. <br /> <br /> UPON MOTION of Commissioner Hammett, seconded by Commis- <br /> <br />sioner Cook and unanimously carried, approval was given for <br /> <br />grading,'draining, basing,'paving, seeding, and striping <br /> <br />S. R. 2082, North Avenue, from N.C. 136 in an easterly <br /> <br />direction for 510' by property owners' participation. <br /> <br /> UP.
